Text always at the bottom

Hi, Feel free to delete if I just missed how to do this:)

The currently line of my work is always at the very bottom of the screen and there is no way to scroll it up a little. I am new so maybe i missed it, but I would love to have a little white space below my text so that i am not always typing at the bottom of the screen. thank you!
